Group Study Rooms are located around the edges of the second, third and fourth floors of Doyle Library, and on the first and second floors of Mahoney Library. These are made available to SRJC students for instruction-related purposes. Use the Group Study Rooms if you need to talk with other students so that you don't disturb other patrons. The rooms are not soundproof, so please show courtesy to others, even when you have the doors closed.
Group Study Rooms are available for SRJC students for reservation at both campus libraries. Reservations must be made at least 1 hour in advance of the scheduled time. A reservation may not be made for one person. Group Study Rooms on the 3rd floor in Doyle Library are available without reservation on a first-come, first-served basis. At Mahoney Library, four group study rooms on the 2nd floor, near the stairs, are available without reservation on a first-come, first-served basis.
Several group study rooms are outfitted with Solstice which allows users to share content from a personal device to a large screen. At Doyle, all 2nd floor study rooms have Solstice. At Mahoney, all study rooms have Solstice.
